Benidorm Beaches

levante_beachBenidorm is well known for the splendid beaches and the success of the resort could partially be attributed to the 6 kilometres of golden sands extending from Poniente Beach in the West to the Levante beach in the East. The beaches have the blue flag and are patrolled by lifeguards, well maintained, clean and have a wide range of activities to suit all ages.

Levante Beach

During peak period, this beach attracts thousands of visitors every day and to welcome them thousands of sun beds are spread along the coastline. There are plenty of cafe’s and sports bars along the beach to dine and have a drink. Levante beach is the safest for children as the water is shallow. A wet playground, rafts, Swing bridges, diving boards and curvy and slope slide are available for children, with volley ball and other sports also available. Water sports activities such as Water skiing, Scuba diving and Jet skiing are also available.

The Poniente beach is situated to the west of old Benidorm and is spread with fine, smooth golden curl sand. Compared to the Levante beach, Poniente beach is less crowded so more suited to those wanting total relaxation.
The beach caters for needs of people of all age groups starting from small children to older people and has facilities for the handicapped. The sun beds over here are quite spacious and provide maximum comfort. Like the Levante beach, the golden sand is cleaned every day at Poniente beach.
The sunset on the Ponient beach is a site not to be missed when you are in Benidorm.

Malpas Beach

Situated near the harbour, Malpas beach is not as well used as Levante and Poniente beaches, so tends to be less busy.
