Benidorm’s theme parks are one the reasons visitors return year after year. The parks are not to far away and can easily accessed by bus or a short taxi ride. The parks are reasonably priced for a whole day of entertainment.

Aqualandia is by the side of Avda Del Mediteraneo in the heart of Benidorm. The park is only open for 6 months a year for tourists from May till October, when the weather is good. The facilities of this Aqualandia Theme park include pools, waterfalls, zigzag water slides and the swings. Along with the water games there are various shops, restaurants, indoor sports arenas and the picnic spots. The entry fee is 20 Euros for adults and 15 Euros for children. This park opens at 10 O’clock every morning till late night.

Mundomar
Situated right next door to Aqualandia, Mundomar is a Marine Park. The Theme park has variety of adventure games such as climbing walls, water slides, volleyball nets and the rope slides. There is also a zoo in which various types of sea birds and animals such as Penguins, Dolphins, Sea Lions, Flamingos, Turtles, fishes, rotters and Bats are kept. The Dolphin shows is one of the main attraction of Mundomar, which is staged two times a day. A minimum entry fee is charged from the visitor. It is well-maintained park and has facilities like small fast food centers, relaxing chairs, drinks facilities, picnic spots and the indoor sports arenas.

This theme park is opened to all through out year and opens at 10 am every day. The dolphin show starts at 1.30 pm and at 5.15 pm. It is advisable to make an early entry in to the park to avoid last minute rush.

Algar Waterfalls
These Algar waterfalls are around thirty kilometers away from he Benidorm city and to reach this place one needs to hire a car or taxi. It is a natural type of waterfall that every one will like including the kids, as there are many swimming pools with fresh water. This Algar waterfall is a treat to watch and a place to enjoy with complete family. The incredible rocks arrangements add glory to the waterfalls. Another attraction of these Algar waterfalls is spice garden in which various types of spices are grown and preserved. A museum, in which one can find rare herbs and the spices, exists in Benidorm. Out of these herbs, essence is prepared and sold at reasonable prices. There are various picnic spots with all facilities for the tourists.


Another important theme park that must be visited in Benidorm is Terra Mitica Theme Park. It is around 5 kilometers from Benidorm and around 35 kilometers away from Alcante airport. It is the biggest theme park in Benidorm and has 60 varieties of rides that are nail biting and thrilling. There are various shows are also conducted for the tourists.

The main attraction of this Terra Mitica Theme Park is that the themes are based on the five countries and these countries are Rome, Egypt, Iberia, The Islands and Greece.
Each country has its own ride and the visitor can enjoy that. For children, there are rides such as roller coasters and the log flumes that are the hot favorites of the children.
